Ben lives in a country where bare knuckle fighting is a national sport. Hedonistic joyclubs serve drug cocktails while youths dance all night to aggressive electronic music. Those who are not so easily distracted are controlled by harsh laws and armed police. The country is on the brink of revolution. Politicians govern from a fortress known as the White Zone, clinging to power through the doctrine of security. But the system has become a liability to itself when it spurs even ordinary young men like Ben to join the vanguard of violent revolutionaries.
